Tune-up

Your site is fine. It just has three things quietly costing you calls.

The site works. It looks decent on a laptop. The phone still rings less than it should, and it is almost always the same handful of causes. A tune-up fixes those and leaves everything else alone.

Fixed quote About one week

This is for you if

  • The site is two to four years old and you do not hate it
  • It looks right on a desktop but you have never really checked it on a phone
  • The business is running. This is about leaks, not a rebuild

It is not for you if

  • The site is broken on phones rather than just awkward
  • There are no pages worth keeping, in which case a tune-up is a new tire on a bent rim
  • You have no site at all yet

What it actually includes

Every line below is work that gets done, not a category. Where a term is unavoidable it is explained on the spot.

01

Mobile and speed fixes

Photos resized to the size they are actually displayed at and saved as WebP, a newer image format that stores the same picture in a fraction of the space. Images below the fold get loading="lazy", which tells the browser to wait on photos nobody has scrolled to yet. Render blocking scripts get moved, meaning code that currently stops the page drawing until it finishes downloading. Most local sites we see are carrying two to three megabytes they do not need.

02

Tap-to-call and contact paths

Every phone number on the site becomes a tel: link, which dials when a thumb touches it instead of just sitting there as text. The number goes in the header where it is visible without scrolling. Then we submit your own contact form and confirm the message actually lands in an inbox somebody reads, which is a check almost nobody runs and which fails more often than you would like.

03

Search and map listing setup

Your Google Business Profile, the panel that appears beside search results with your hours and directions, claimed and filled out properly. Categories, service area, hours including holidays, and photos. Then we make your Name, Address and Phone read identically on the site, the listing and the major directories, because Google cross-checks them and quietly discounts a business it cannot pin down.

04

Structured data

Schema markup added to the site. That is a hidden block of code that states in a format search engines read directly what kind of business you are, where you are, when you are open and how to reach you. It is why some results show hours and a star rating and others show a grey line of text.

How it runs

About one week, start to finish. You get the fixed number before any of it begins.

  1. Day one Free inspection, then a fixed number in writing before anything begins.
  2. Days two to four The fixes themselves. Your site stays live the whole time.
  3. Day five You review it on your own phone, not ours, and we adjust.
  4. Days six and seven Listing work and the final before and after.

What you end up with

What this does not cover

New pages, rewritten copy, or a redesign. If the site needs those, you want the renovation and we will say so during the inspection rather than after the invoice.

Questions people actually ask

Will the site go down while you work?

No. Changes are prepared separately and applied in one short window, usually under a minute, and almost always outside business hours.

What if the inspection finds something bigger?

We tell you before quoting. A tune-up on a site that needs a rebuild is money you will spend twice, and we would rather lose the smaller job than sell you the wrong one.

Not sure this is the right tier?

Run the free inspection. It takes about 30 seconds, needs no email, and it is what the recommendation is built from. If a cheaper tier will do, we will tell you that.
